CHARLES CITY – Police responded to a call about a drunk driver in Charles City and took a man to jail Tuesday.
Charles City police received a call about a possible drunk driver Tuesday evening at about 8:13 PM near the 900 block if Kelly Street. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. After an investigation, police arrested 46-year-old Matthew C. Dunn of Tama for first offense operating while intoxicated.
Dunn was released the next day pending a court date.
