GREENE COUNTY, IA – An Iowa man died Monday morning in what authorities are calling a reckless driving incident.
The Iowa State Patrol said that 27-year-old Daniel Reetz of Boone was driving a 2001 Chevy Impala westbound in a reckless manner on Highway 30 in Green County Monday morning at about 9:30 AM when he crossed the center line of the highway and collided head-on with a 2007 Cadillac Escalade driven by 25-year-old Lombardo Ramos of Oskaloosa.
Reetz was pronounced dead at the scene. Ramos and a passenger was transported to a nearby hospital with undisclosed injuries.
