MASON CITY – A Chicago man wanted on felony warrants was caught in Mason City.
Isaac D. Winston, age 43 of Chicago, was stopped by a police officer for an equipment violation at 3:00 AM Thursday, August 21 near Mason City High School. The officer soon discovered that Winston was wanted on felony warrants out of Black Hawk county since January of 2013 for forgery and theft in the fourth degree.
Winston was arrested and booked into the Cerro Gordo County Jail and soon transported to Waterloo to the Black Hawk County Jail, where he remains held on no bond.
SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY
