WAVERLY – A Plainfield man was discovered dead at his home this week.
On August 10 at about 4:40 PM, Bremer County Deputies responded to a call of a body at a residence in northern Bremer County. Deputies found a deceased individual who was later identified as Kent Morgan, age 46, of rural Plainfield. Release of information regarding the cause and manner of death is pending the results of an autopsy being performed at the State Medical Examiner’s lab in Ankeny, however, no foul play is suspected and there is no danger to the public. The Bremer County Medical Examiner’s Office is assisting with the incident. No further information will be released at this time pending the results of the autopsy.
