SAC CITY – A heavily-tatted Northern Iowa sex offender who molested a young girl was found sneaking around a daycare and now will have years to display his body art to his new roommates.
On January 13, 2025, Martin Andrew Arispe Jr. was convicted in the Iowa District Court for Sac County for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registry Requirements – Second Offense, a class “D” felony.
The Sac City Police Department investigated the matter, assisted by the Sac County Sheriff’s Office and the Buena Vista County Sheriff’s Office.
Arispe – who proudly has tatted his arms, legs, chest, and back – at the time of his arrest, age 36, was registered in Buena Vista County as a “homeless” sex offender living in Storm Lake. A Sac City Police Department detective, acting on information from the Sac County Sheriff’s Office, conducted a thorough investigation, including monitoring the home where Arispe was believed to reside in Sac City. The detective’s investigation yielded considerable evidence that Arispe was unlawfully residing at the home in question, which was within 2,000 feet of a registered daycare – a violation of the restrictions of Arispe’s sex offender registry requirements.
District Associate Judge Joseph McCarville ordered Arispe to begin serving five years in state prison immediately.
The Sac County Attorney’s Office prosecuted the case.
Records show Arispe victimized a non-adult female child back in 2015.

He wasn’t living nor staying in said home because he knows he has to be registered, when he went in to try and register himself he was told that he couldn’t stay there because of the in home daycare being too close. All humans make mistakes. Yes he fucked up and will he labeled for the rest of his life, but he knows he fucked up and is going to spend the rest of his life trying to make up for it. All the evil comments and posts and opinions really get to a person and can really affect them mentally and physically. We all have pasts some of us choose to learn and grow from them, and then there’s some that do not, but Martin Arispe Jr is one of them people who really truly regrets all the bad that he’s done and all the time that he’s wasted worrying about the wrong things and the wrong people, he truly wants change and he is truly working towards it. If you really want change in humanity then you yourself have to change how you go about things.
