MASON CITY – A property owner and law enforcement responded to an alarm at a rural Cerro Gordo county property and learned that multiple subjects were attempting to break-in.
Cerro Gordo deputies responded to a residential alarm at 12453 Finch Avenue in Clear Lake at 3:27 AM Monday morning. Upon arrival, tire tracks were located on grass at the property. A property owner arrived and pulled up video surveillance footage to aid in the investigation. The footage showed multiple subjects on the property trying to make entry into a building there. However, deputies were unable to get any identifiable information from subjects or vehicle.
