CLEAR LAKE – A Des Moines woman was arrested Saturday night in Clear Lake on a drunk driving charge after police were called about sex acts in State Park.
Cerro Gordo deputies responded to the 6000 block of South Shore Drive on Saturday, June 21 at about 6:40 PM after a citizen reported that two subjects were engaging in a sexual act at State Park. The officer located the subjects driving on South Shore Drive. The vehicle was stopped and the driver – 44-year-old Shannon Marie Wallace of Des Moines – was arrested for operating while intoxicated – 1st Offense. A warning was given for a non-working brake light.
Wallace was taken to the Cerro Gordo County Jail and held on $1,000 cash bond.
