CLEAR LAKE – A Clear Lake family’s house burned Sunday night, and while no one was hurt in the blaze, damage is upwards of $150,000.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a split level home with the rear of the home on fire. An agressive interior attack was made by Clear Lake fire figthers and a second line was deployed as fire fighters attacked the fire from the outside as well. The fire was quickly brought under control and extensive overhaul was done.
No one was injured in the fire incident. The home is owned by Adam Schwenn of Clear Lake. Schwenn and his family were not at home at the time of the fire. The fire was reported by a passerby who called 911 to report the fire.
Damage is estimated at $150,000. The property is insured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
