SPENCER – A wanted Iowa sex offender was caught in Des Moines and taken to North Iowa to await trial on a number of new charges.
Gerald Busch, age 48, was recently arrested in Des Moines. The Clay County Jail transported Busch to Spencer on February 26th. Upon arriving, Busch was booked on Clay County warrants for five counts of violation of no contact order, violation of sex offender registry, and 3rd degree harassment. Busch had been wanted since February 3rd.
Busch remains in jail pending a trial. He owes thousands of dollars to Iowa courts in unpaid fees and fines.
