MASON CITY – A Clear Lake man was injured Friday after a two-vehicle accident Friday near Mason City.
According to the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office, Friday at about 12:35 PM, deputies responded to a traffic accident involving two vehicles at Mallard Avenue just north of the Avenue of the Saints. Linda Harris, age 69 of Aredale, was driving north on Mallard Avenue when her vehicle slid on a patch of ice and struck a vehicle driven by 37-year-old Mark Ebeling of Clear Lake.
Harrison was transported to Mercy Hospital. Ebeling was not injured. The accident remains under investigation.
