DES MOINES – WHO-Radio announced Friday that the 2014 Great Iowa Tractor Ride will be based in Mason City. The announcement was made during the Announcement Party held at the Machine Shed Restaurant in West Des Moines. Representatives from Mason City were present for the announcement.
The 18th Annual Great Iowa Tractor Ride will take place June 22-25. 400 tractors of all makes and models are expected to participate in this year’s ride. The campus of North Iowa Community College will serve as headquarters, with additional festivities being held in the downtown area.
The event was held in Sioux City in 2013.
