Youngster backs Max for Mayor

From Cole Henaman of Mason City –

My Name is Cole Henaman, I am the Grandson of Michael & Sandra Servantez. I am 10 years old, I have attended many City Council meetings with my Grandparents. I have attended several of Max’s meet & Greet, and forums. I attended the forum Monday Night at the Prime & Wine, and was disappointed that the incumbents didn’t show up. With them not showing up, I feel that they don’t care how the citizens feel. I am proud to be a strong supporter of Max Weaver. I only wish I was old enough to vote.

This young man has renewed my hope in the future of this city, county and country. Good job young MAN and “stay on the path”.

Can’t anyone else see the hypocrisy here? On the one hand Matt berates the Mayor for putting a “vote for me ” in with free candy. Leave the kids out of this people scream. Then Matt prints an “op-ed” by a 10 year old touting Max and some say it’s great young people are getting involved.

No comparison at all.

Get your thinking cap on there Red.

I have see this young man at the council meeting many times. I have also seen him at the forms. I have see him at work sessions he also was at the CES meeting at the land fill. I think it is great at his age he is interested about city politics. How many meetings have you been at?

OF you missed my point. I think it’s great for young people to get interested in politics. I took umbrage at Matt’s calling the “vote for me ” advertisement “tainting” the candy and “propaganda”. This should have been a teaching moment for any parent who is for Max or Quinn to explain why they are not voting for the Mayor. It’s not like Halloween isn’t the most commercialized and made up holiday already. A little advertising on the free candy is not the end of the world or that it somehow crosses a line.

I can see the hypocrisy Reggie. No one else here will admit it at the Max/Matt/Peter Children ran NIT. Hypocrisy……thy name is NIT.

@Cheter-If you are going to use a word, learn how to spell it. No wonder no one pays attention to your moronic comments.

You paid attention…..moron!

BTW what word are you talking about?

It is great to see young people getting involved in local issues.

BRAVO COLE !!!
