This year’s program will examine the Office of the Vice President of the United States. The presentation will include a look at the origins of the office, the roles of the vice president, the selection process, and the various individuals who have held the second-highest position in the national government.
NIACC’s presentation of this forum complies with the federal law requiring every school that receives federal funds to provide students with a program on the Constitution. This program will be the ninth offered to NIACC students and the public. Free copies of the Constitution will also be given out. The Constitution Forum is offered to the public as well for no charge through NIACC’s Lifelong Learning Institute.
The sad truth is, our Federal Government is using this to “indoctrinate” our youth with a false perception of what our Constitution is all about and it real purpose.
This country is so far removed from the original principles of the Constitution, our Founding Fathers would shed tears if they were alive today.
Wake up folks!
PS: John Schmaltz, political science instructor should be using this opportunity to teach our youth that blood was shed to author a Constitution that would guarantee our freedoms.
We are clearly not free when a Government can confiscate your money, force you to buy health care, go to war any dam time they want to, etc.
