MASON CITY – Police are investigating a willful injury stabbing incident that took place Thursday evening.
According to police, on June 13th at about 10:37 PM, Mason City Police Officers were dispatched to the area of 117 1/2 N. Monroe Ave and W. State Street for a subject that had been stabbed. The subject that was injured was identified as Joseph Walter Latham. Latham was transported to Mercy Medical Center North Iowa for treatment for his injuries.
The incident is still under investigation and charges may be filed later.
