Paul Walsh, Star Tribune (Minneapolis) –
A passenger in a vehicle traveling on a Twin Cities interstate was shot in the back early Sunday, and authorities are trying to figure out where the gunfire came from.
A 911 call came in about 2:25 a.m. reporting the shooting incident in Eagan on northbound Interstate 35E, just south of Pilot Knob Road, police said.
The woman was taken to Regions Hospital — conscious and alert — with what police are describing as non-life threatening injuries.
The driver was unharmed, police added.
