HUDSON, IOWA — A narcotics investigation in this Northern Iowa town culminated in an early morning raid this week, leading to felony drug charges and a child endangerment count. On April 20, 2026, at approximately 12:30 a.m., officers from the Hudson Police Department (HPD), with support from the Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant at a residence located at 228 Main Street. The warrant was obtained after a traffic stop on April 18 led investigators to believe that illegal narcotics were being sold from the home.
During the search, authorities uncovered a significant amount of evidence, including methamphetamine, marijuana, and various pieces of drug paraphernalia. Officers also seized cellular phones and U.S. currency as part of the ongoing investigation. The raid resulted in the arrest of two individuals associated with the illegal activity.
Christina Dietz, a resident of the Main Street home, faces several charges, including possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was also charged with child endangerment and gathering where controlled substances are used. Gabriel Olsen of Cedar Falls was also arrested and faces charges for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and failure to affix a drug tax stamp. Records show both suspects have already bonded out of jail.
The Hudson Police Department noted that additional charges may be filed as their investigation continues. Local officials expressed their gratitude to the Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in the execution of the warrant and their continued partnership in keeping the community safe.
