James Edward Schuller, the son of George F. And Catherine (Keene) Schuller, was born on August 15, 1936, at home in Whittemore, Iowa. He attended Whittemore Schools and graduated with the class of 1954. On December 27, 1955, James was united in marriage to Beverly A. (St. John) Schuller in Algona, Iowa. After the couple married, James enlisted into the United States Air Force and served during the Korean War era as a Radar technician. James was honorably discharged on November 25, 1958, and eventually became the owner of “Schu’s Radio and T.V.” – a sales and repair business. James and Beverly moved several times over the years and eventually retired in Humboldt, Iowa.

James was a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Parish – Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the West Bend American Legion. His passion in life was fishing. James also enjoyed target shooting, hunting pheasants and deer, and tinkering with anything he could get his hands on. James was a devoted Patriot, husband, father and grandfather.

Left to cherish James’ memory are his children: Jeff Schuller of Whittemore, B.J. and Julie Schuller of Sibley and Janelle Lovejoy of Humboldt; eight grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents: George and Catherine Schuller; his wife: Beverly; his eldest son: Gregory; and his grandson: Samuel.
