MASON CITY – A judge threw out a 5 year jail sentence for a Mason City woman who pled guilty to third offense operating while intoxicated.
Lisa Jackson, age 44, Mason City, pled guilty on May 28th to third offense operating while intoxicated. She had been stopped and arrested by the Iowa State Patrol on October 17, 2013. Judge Annette Boehlje sentenced Jackson to 30 days in jail, but suspended a five-year prison sentence. She was also given three years probation, and assessed $4,468.75 in fines and costs.
