Jennifer Rae Severin, 38, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at the Millennium Hall, 514 S Federal, Mason City, Iowa.

Jennifer was born on March 8, 1986, in Worthington, Minnesota, the daughter of Dave and Tammy (Shuck) Berger. She was a graduate of Mason City High School. Following graduation she went on to attend college receiving a degree as a Paralegal. She was able to work for Tim Lapointe for 8 years until the past year when her health declined.

Jennifer was the kind of person who would go to any length to help others. She had a deep love for nature, especially the beauty of flowers and the serenity of camping under the stars. Fiercely independent and always on the move, she embraced life with a sense of adventure. As a wife, mother, daughter, and sister, she was everything one could ever hope for – loving, supportive, and unwaveringly loyal. Jennifer had a rare gift for seeing the good in people, offering second chances even when they weren’t always deserved. Her loyalty and kindness touched the lives of everyone she met.

Those left to cherish memories of Jennifer are her husband, Tony Bogue; children, Nolan Severin, Austin Bogue, and Gavin Severin; father, Dave Berger; mother, Tammy Berger; siblings, Lisa (Corey) Cobb, Allen (Stephanie) Berger; maternal grandmother; niece, Nora Cobb; and special friends, Nicole Esquivel, Melinda Kibuta and Bob Spurbeck; as well as her furbabies, Kovu, Nala, Simba, Molly and Lily.

Jennifer is preceded in death by maternal grandfather.
