WATERLOO – On Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at approximately 6:05 PM, Waterloo Police were dispatched to the Kum & Go Convenience Store, 1976 Franklin Street reference a shooting. Officers found that two people had been shot. One victim, Cederick Matlock, died from a gunshot wound to the chest.
On July 18, 2013, Waterloo Police arrested and charged Antonio Deshawn Hutchins, age 32, of 2311 Clearview Street, Waterloo, with Murder in the First Degree. He is being held in the Black Hawk County Jail on $1,000,000.00 bond.
SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY
