Clear Lake- Marlin “Pee Wee” Eugene Miller 88, died Monday, June 24, 2024 at the IOOF Home, Mason City, Iowa.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday June 28, 2024, at the Fertile Church of Christ, 502 North 1st Street, Fertile, Iowa 50434; with Rev. Ken Olson officiating. Burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City, Iowa. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family in Marlin’s memory.

Marlin Eugene Miller was born on March 26, 1936, in rural Clear Lake, Iowa, the son of Verle F. and Corrine (Zobel) Miller. Marlin was a graduate of Fertile High School in the class of 1954. He operated the service station in Fertile for several years. Marlin’s work experience also included working at Sears in Mason City, Miller’s Diesel and lastly Opportunity Village.

Marlin was married to Elizabeth Caffrey; they were blessed with two children Rhonda and Jeff.
On December 13, 1974, Marlin was united in marriage to Dianne Kay Ouverson at the Fertile Church of Christ. They made their home in Clear Lake. Marlin was a member of the Church of Christ where he was a deacon, Sunday School teacher and sang in the choir. He was a member of the North Iowa Road Riders for several years.

Marlin enjoyed taking fishing trips with his father Verle and his brothers, Earl and Jack. Other interests of Marlin’s were watching Westerns, NASCAR races, and taking motorcycle trips! Louis L’Amour was one of his favorite authors and he greatly loved music! In retirement, Marlin delighted in being a snowbird to southern Texas.

Marlin is survived by his wife Dianne Miller of Clear Lake; son, Jeffrey (Mary) Miller; grandchildren, Tara (Dan) Lincicum, April (Dan) Guffey, Jamie Miller, Bryan (Tammy) Miller, Mark Miller; 11 Great-Grandchildren; sister, Jean (Dan) Blake; sisters-in-law Donna and Eva Miller; along with other relatives and friends.

Marlin is preceded in death by his parents, Verle and Corrine Miller; daughter, Rhonda E. (Phillip) Krambeer; brothers, Earl and Jack Miller; nephews Jack Jr. Miller and Jerry Gudmonson.
