Kathleen Ann Nemmers was born at home on the farm near Lone Rock, lowa, on January 28, 1945; the daughter of Bernard and Rosalia (Walsh) O’Donnell. She graduated from St. John High School and Mankato Commercial College. On November 18, 1967, she was united in marriage to John (Pete) Nemmers, when he returned from service in the US Navy. They lived in Algona their entire married life. In addition to John, she is survived by two sisters, Patricia Krapp and Helen Erpelding, and many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Her family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Hospice, Algona Manor and family members who assisted her, especially Linda and Colleen.
