On Monday, January 15, 2024, at approximately 4:50 AM, Waterloo Patrol Officers and Waterloo Fire Personnel were dispatched to 208 Eighmey for a report of a subject who had been found shot inside this residence. Officers arrived and located a male victim inside the residence deceased.
Later, police identified the deceased person as 19-year-old Joseph Quail of Waterloo.
Police say an investigation is still ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police.
