Betty Ann Snook, 78, of Mason City, passed away January 13, 2024 at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton, IA. A visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Monday, January 22, 2024 at Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel.

Betty Ann Snook, 78, of Mason City, passed away January 13, 2024 at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton, IA.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Monday, January 22, 2024 at Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd St. NE, Mason City, IA 50401.

Memorials may be dedicated to the family.

Betty was born December 18, 1945 in Osage, IA, daughter of Selmer and Helene (Jensen) Johnson. She graduated from St. Ansgar High School. She later attended Hamilton Business College. Betty was united in marriage to Arthur “Art” Snook. For a number of years she worked in data processing for A C Nielsen. After her children were grown, she worked in customer service at Hy-Vee. Later she worked as a store manager at Casey’s.

Betty enjoyed cross stitching as well as keeping up with her favorite shows. She loved her Dallas Cowboys and always tuned in to watch their games. Family meant the world to her and she cherished any time she got to visit with them. When time allowed, she also enjoyed traveling. Being out on the road gave her a sense of freedom that she really loved.

Those left to cherish her are her children, Kelli (Chad) Sweatman, Kristi (Rick) Kleinschmidt, and Kirt (Jody Primrose) Snook; grandchildren, Alex (Jenna), Erica, and MJ (Cassie) Hulsing, Brett and Dalton Slaughter, Aubrionna Sweatman, Nevaeha Matheson, Sara (Blaze) Solace, AJ Snook, Elemae (Tyler) Pierce, Cody Betz, Kasey (Ryan) Kopaska, Andrew (Areli) Primrose, and Phoenix Riemenschneider; great grandchildren, Hadley, Gracelyn, Autumn, Camden, and Catalina; sister, Norma (Sue) Johnson; many beloved grand-furbabies; as well as many friends and extended family.

Preceding her in death are her husbands, Tom Johnson, and Art Snook; and parents.
