Britt police investigating conduct by school employee

BRITT – Britt police say they are investigating conduct by school employee.

Britt police say that on June 14, 2022, a search warrant was conducted at a Britt residence in the 300 block of Main Avenue South as part of an ongoing investigation regarding an employee’s conduct while employed at the West Hancock Community School District.

According to police, “This is an active investigation; no other information will be released at this time. As information becomes available it may be released. There is no direct or active threat to the community. Anyone with information is encouraged to send relevant Information to the Britt Police Dept.”

No further details have been released by police thus far.
