MASON CITY – The curb and gutter section and all driveway approaches have been completed on the south side of the street between Carolina Avenue and Kentucky Avenue. Traffic control will be reset early next week to move vehicles to the south as work to remove the existing curb and gutter begins on the north side.
A second contractor will continue working on the replacement of storm sewer structures at Ohio Avenue and York Avenue.
Limited two-way traffic will continue throughout the week. Please reduce your speed and remain alert when traveling through the construction zone, for your safety and that of the construction worker.
