Iowa man busted with meth in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE – An Iowa man was busted with meth in Clarksville Monday night.

On June 13th at 9:51 pm the Clarksville Police stopped a vehicle for an inoperable brake light. After a brief investigation the police arrested Matthew Clemens (47) of Wellsburg for possession of methamphetamine 1st offense. Clemens was transported to the jail in Allison awaiting an appearance before magistrate. Police were assisted at the scene by deputies from the Butler County sheriff’s department.

Police advise the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are likely.
