DAVENPORT – Four people were shot during an incident in Davenport this week.
On Thursday July 29th, 2021 at 9:15 PM, afternoon shift units responded to Pacific and W. Locust St reference multiple reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers discovered four people had been shot. Two of the victims were adult males, one was an adult female and the fourth was a female juvenile. All four victims were transported to Genesis East hospital with serious injuries.
In canvassing the area several spent shell casings were found in the eastbound lanes of W. Locust St near the intersection of Pacific and W. Locust St. Preliminary investigation indicates there was a feud between two vehicles which escalated into shots being fired.
This case is under investigation and no further details will be provided at this time.
