Peter Children Opinion: Trump showing his “Insidious” character

Insidious is one of those words that fit in so many quarters. I guess a “catch-all” could be substituted in a lot of situations.

It’s not a description most of us would appreciate for it’s not meant to be complementary…far from it. I can illustrate with a couple recent acts that received widespread media attention.

Example #1, when Trump fired those who testified against him in impeachment hearings earlier in the year it was definitely an insidious act. It was clearly indicative and most certainly done for retribution for former testimonies against Trump. It was cowardly and it was insidious… but not illegal. But it could fall under “abuse of office.” The list chronicling this behavior is endless, without end. Now there is talk about the current front runner of the Democratic Party which happens to be Bernie Sanders. They say he is too old and physically impaired due to a heart attack which happened not that long ago. Isn’t that why we have “Vice Presidents?” It was under those circumstances that brought Harry Truman into office and today he is definitely considered one of our greatest presidents. He dropped the atomic bombs on Japan which ended WWII. He also was responsible for the creation of Israel in 1948.

What is currently taking place against Senator Romney is beyond insidious, it’s immoral. There is no excuse to ridicule a person for bowing to their core belief in God. This country’s very foundations were built on religious freedoms. Remember the pilgrims… do you think they came here just to camp out… ? Some of those who support Trump in my community are of the strongest moral fiber, they would be the first to open their door to you if you needed help. I have no doubt of that. I was fortunate to have had the privilege of growing up in the Midwest, the breadbasket of the world. I am proud to to have stood witness to unbridled tolerance and unparalleled generosity and kindness to our neighbors and strangers alike.

Be sure to vote, vote for whenever you wish, your vote is the fuel that fires the engines of democracy that makes America the greatest place in earth. I encourage you to be a part of it.

Trump has totally ignored the DOJ I this country, he is in business for himself. If he intends to emulate North Korea and Russia he will find that hurdle impossible to jump. In the countries he holds in high esteem the head of state were never elected…so how do they manage it? They have the backing of the military, the army backs them up.

    That is an impossibility here

Please don’t think A.G Barr are at odds. These two are joined at the hip for life. Neither are smart enough to pull this charade off.

Pete, I am surprised at you defending dirty cops and insubordinate employees. There was a day when you would have been on your soapbox ripping their ass’es.

I suspect you are watching CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC who has teamed up with the Democrats that started the Character Assassination of Donald Trump the day he announced his bid for President.

Character Assassination is the only false tool the Socialist/Democratic Party has as an agenda item to defeat President Trump. It won’t work!

President Trump has done more good for America than any President in many decades. I don’t believe your line of nonsense will deter logical people.

As you have got into your twilight years, your common sense has dimmed. Still, I like you.

It makes sense that he is cleaning house, he is draining the swamp but didn’t actually know how deep the swamp was until after what he went through. I will be voting again Peter and it will be for Trump. My support for him is stronger than I could have believed when I voted for him a little more than 3 years ago. He is going to win in a landslide!

Now that the tables are turning and the real AG Barr investigations begin. The real crooks that started the whole fake Trump witch hunt will hopefully come to justice. And people like you will finally see the truth. Even though you won’t accept it.
It is obvious you don’t have a clue. Romney just can’t handle he lost, same with Hillary. Can’t you see that?
And how could anybody stand in Biden’s corner now? And Bernie are you nuts?

Amen to that. I couldn’t have said it better myself. Of course you fire people around you that do you dirt and can’t trust. I hope all those that committed the worst like Comey heading up the FBI and doing what he and his cohorts did, they all deserve prison time. You know darn well, if you or I did that, we’d have been looking out the bars years ago. I hope now that Barr is heading it up heads will begin to roll. It’s time you paid when you go against the law. Those is Wash. DC are NOT above the law. Peter, no matter how you spin it, our President is draining the swamp. That is one reason why he was voted in.

    Peter Children,
That has to be the most eloquent piece you have written. That being said, it is wrong. Let’s start with what insidious does mean:
    adjective
1.intended to entrap or beguile: an insidious plan
    .
2.stealthily treacherous or deceitful: an insidious enemy.

3.operating or proceeding in an inconspicuous or seemingly harmless way but actually with grave effect: an insidious disease.
Now, we know what it means, how did you use a big word wrong.
Trump did not try to beguile, be stealthy or inconspicuous when he fired them. He fired them because he COULDN’T trust them. Plain, simple to the point.
You say what’s happening to Romney is insidious, no more than the Democrats before the 2016 elections.
There is actually a difference though. Romney voted against Trump out of hurt feelings due to the 2016 elections, not out of his convictions. If it was because of his convictions, he would have been expressing his concerns and views before the vote, not during the theatrical BS after.
You bring up Bernie, yes,we are aware of VP’s. The bets are that he is going to have OC on his coat tales. We as a country can not afford to have that flake in power.

Please explain, Everything I wrote is the truth.
If that means that I’m, “so deep in the ether you ain’t ever getting out.” I guess you are not even in the universe of reality.
