CHARLES CITY – A Mason City man was allegedly driving the wrong way on a Charles City road and arrested for drunk driving.
The incident took place at about 1:29 AM on December 8, 2019, when officers with the Charles City police department conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Gilbert Street and Cedar Crest Lane. Keegan Meighan, age 23 of Mason City, was arrested after an investigation. He was charged with first-offense operating while intoxicated, speeding, and driving on the wrong side of the road.
Meighan was taken to jail and later released on his own recognizance.
