Pat Wright, Treasurer

MASON CITY – The Cerro Gordo County treasurer says the new “blackout” license plates available in Iowa are all gone, for now.

Patricia Wright, Cerro Gordo County Treasurer’s office, released the statement that their inventory of “Blackout” plates has been depleted.

“Our original inventory of 100 plates was received on Friday, August 30, 2019,” Wright said in a statement.  “On Wednesday, September 4th, we were successful in placing another order of 100 Blackout plates with DOT. We will continue to monitor our inventory and let the public know when this very popular plate arrives in our office again.”

(Correction: Pat Wright is the county treasurer. She was briefly also the county auditor before Adam Wedmore was elected to that position.)

at least in 2nd paragraph you got it right. she was acting auditor while the search was on for a new one but hasn’t ever been the “Auditor”

Are you stupid or what? There is nothing in the article that says “Auditor”. It says Treasurers Office and Treasurer. Not Auditor. If you are going to say something negative, get your facts straight.
