DNR to recap hunting seasons, discuss possible rule changes at public meetings across the state

Information from Iowa DNR
VENTURA – The Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is hosting a series of town hall-style meetings where local staff will provide updates on recently completed hunting seasons, discuss possible changes to hunting rules and regulations, and address other topics as requested.

“We want people to come out to these meetings, listen to the hunting seasons reviews, ask questions and hear directly from our staff,” said Todd Bishop, chief of the Iowa DNR’s Wildlife Bureau. “Part of the meeting will be devoted to discussing potential rule changes and collecting feedback as we work through the rules process.”

The meetings are open to the public. Comments collected from these public meetings will be considered along with other related comments received by the Iowa DNR prior to proposing changes to hunting rules and regulations. Proposed rules will be presented to the Natural Resource Commission during a regular public meeting for consideration and additional public comment.

These meetings replace the one night listening session held in late winter over the past 15 years.

DNR had a very successful fund raiser at Clear Lake this weekend. Hundreds of 4 wheelers who do not know you now have to register them, along with snowmobils not having all their government stickers. They came from all over the state to write violations. If you cant sell license, you have to make it somewhere

What? Try again but this time….. Make some Damn sense.

I’d be more worried about my job, then what people think. Nobody will be hunting after our government confiscates all guns. The communist party is coming for your guns.

Hahahahaha
Sad thing is your comment is not funny to you because you actually believe it!
Hahahahaha

Explain to us how nobody wants to take guns away from people? And don’t say co.Mon sense laws because that’s just a liberal cop out. You’re dumb if you honestly think liberals don’t want to take away people firearms, can you read? Read every bill the democrats have drawn up since they took the house! If that doesn’t spell it out to you then you may be retarded.

it is nice they do this…..it is sad they really do not listen with intent to do anything the public says…
DNR is topheavy with politics and less with the common man.
Sad, very sad.
