DAVENPORT – A man was shot dead in Davenport Friday evening, leading to the arrest of a suspect.
On Friday, February 17, 2017 at approximately 9:49 PM, officers responded to 625 East Locust Street in reference to a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located one subject with suspected gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Genesis East and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The victim in this incident has been identified as Lasabian L. Walker, age 33, of Rock Island.
As a result of the police investigation, David L. Levy Jr., age 27, of Davenport, has been arrested and charged with Murder in the First Degree in relation to this incident. He remains in custody in the Scott county jail at this time.
