MASON CITY – The Mason City Community School District head coaches and athletic staff are sponsoring the first ever Mason City “Olympics” on Friday, August 24 and Saturday August 25, 2012. Funds raised will go toward athletics and activities transportation costs for the 2012-2013 seasons. Events available to participate in include Team Dodge ball, 5K Walk/Run, Kids Fun Run, 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament, Golf Outing, Softball Tournament and Zumba. This is the same weekend as the Mason City Mohawks vs Clear Lake Lions game to be held on Friday, August 24.
