MASON CITY – A Mason City man was arrested for drunk driving this weekend.
A Cerro Gordo county deputy conducted a traffic stop at 2:18 AM Sunday, January 22, at 15th Street SE and Georgia Avenue. After an investigation, the driver, 40-year-old York Tremayne Burris of Mason City was arrested. Burris was charged with first-offense operating while under the Influence, driving under suspension, and no insurance.
Burris was taken to the county jail, booked and later released, pending a court date.
