Senator Cruz – who has engaged in questionable behavior in misleading Iowa voters twice leading up to caucus night, recently challenged Trump during a Republican debate. Monday, Trump released a statement bolstering his campaign and taking on Cruz:
Ted Cruz is a totally unstable individual. He is the single biggest liar I’ve ever come across, in politics or otherwise, and I have seen some of the best of them. His statements are totally untrue and completely outrageous. It is hard to believe a person who proclaims to be a Christian could be so dishonest and lie so much.
Cruz said I would be appointing a liberal judge when in fact I will appoint a great conservative and I am the only candidate who has gone so far, at the debate, as to suggest two individuals I feel would best represent the conservative values we need to protect: William “Bill” Pryor Jr. and Diane Sykes.
Cruz says I am pro-choice, when in fact I am staunchly pro-life and have been for a long time. Like Ronald Reagan, on many issues, I have evolved.
Cruz says I am in favor of ObamaCare, when in fact I have spoken about repealing and replacing this disaster of a system at every speech throughout my campaign and since it’s inception. Meanwhile, Cruz was responsible for getting Bush to put in the judge that failed to vote against ObamaCare twice.
Cruz says I will try to take away your second amendment rights, when I am one of the strongest proponents of the right to bear arms and I say so in every speech that I have made for years. I am a proud member of the NRA and so are my sons.
Cruz has become unhinged and is lying with the hopes that his statements will go unchecked until after the election and he will save his failing campaign.
In Iowa, Cruz told thousands of Ben Carson voters that Dr. Carson had left
the race and to instead vote for Ted Cruz. He apologized when the race was over. Likewise, his fraudulent voter violation form sent to Iowa voters. If Ted is going to continue to lie with such desperation, I have no choice but to fight back.
One of the ways I can fight back is to bring a lawsuit against him relative to the fact that he was born in Canada and therefore cannot be President. If he doesn’t take down his false ads and retract his lies, I will do so immediately. Additionally, the RNC should intervene and if they don’t they are in default of their pledge to me.
I am the strongest on the borders and I will build a wall, and it will be a real wall. I am strongest on illegal immigration, strongest on ISIS, strongest on the military and I will take care of our Vets. I will end common core and preserve the second amendment. I will renegotiate our trade deals and bring our jobs back to our country. I am the only person who will Make America Great Again.
What Cruz did here in Iowa to Ben Carson say’s enough about his honesty and integrity. Not sure Trump is the answer but he would be better then Cruz.
I guess if one would speculate that Trump becomes President, then what would happen? The Democrats would try to block every thing he would like to do just the the Republicans do with President Obama. The Tea Partiers in Congress wouldn’t like his middle of the road approach to any thing sensible so they would vote against his proposals. The mainstream Republicans don’t want an outsider in the White House so they wouldn’t be any help. Another 4 years of nothing getting done. Fun stuff.
@Bodacious-Maybe that is just what we need to start changing things that need to be changed. I really believe that the establishment is misreading the frustration of the people. We are totally fed up with being lied to by both party’s so they can keep control of us. If Trump should win it is possible that other need changes could happen.
Everyone-Democrat, Republicans and Independents-are fed up with the politicians. But, it still doesn’t seem to get through to them. And the ones who are elected, get caught up with their own agendas and refuse to compromise. Maybe that is what we need – a compromise party. People willing to work with one another to achieve a common good. Right now, my way or the highway seems to be their rallying cry and they won’t back down. Somehow we have lost that willingness to try to reach agreements that may not be exactly what we want. And civil discourse is impossible.
Trump and Cruz are tied for “world champion liar” according to the fact checkers.

Hillary Clinton has both first and second place.

Welcome to the world of dirty politics. Dirty politics is where the media and other politicians take your inventory and misrepresent the facts to the voters to make you look bad. It’s lying any way you want to package it.
Heaven forbid you changed your mind on issues. The media and your political rivals won’t let you do that. Rest assured the voters see right through the BS.

Iowa showed the country how dirty politics works. Cruz’s team used it against Carson big time.
Then these politicians take their dirty tricks to Washington and use them to get legislation passes. Bad, bad, bad!
The Donald isn’t the only one calling Cruz a liar. It was proven he lied about Carson to get some votes and Rubio also says he is a liar. Cruz probably thinks it works for Hellary so why not for him. Washington politics as usual. They just can’t get it through their thinks skulls that people are fed up with Washington lying to us.

My wife and I attended a Trump rally in Baton Rouge, Louisiana last Thursday. What a hoot. Trump’s attendance makes Bernie Sanders attendance look trivial. The media won’t tell you that.
There were 11,000 people in the River Event Center and 4,000 more standing outside. It was truly remarkable to be there and in attendance. I have been to football stadiums totally full of people that didn’t cheer that much.
I don’t know if it’s any indication of the future but it looks to me that Trump is unstoppable.
I bet that was very interesting. I don’t care for crowds but would have liked to see it on T.V. Of course the left wing media would not show something like that. I too think Trump has it locked up and they will try to steal it away from him. Just like the Democratic Party will try to steal it from Sanders. I think that would be a huge mistake by both party’s and they would finally have a revolution of the people on both sides. They should do away with delegates and use nothing but the popular votes of the people.
