MASON CITY – The NIACC women’s basketball team is ranked ninth in the NJCAA Division II poll released today.
NIACC, which was 25-6 last season, opens the season Friday and Saturday at the NDSCS tournament in Wapheton, N.D.
It is the 25th straight poll that the Lady Trojans have been ranked in the top 10.
Kirkwood is ranked sixth in the initial poll. Johnson County CC is the preseason No. 1 team.
