MINNEAPOLIS – Police in Minnesota’s largest city say they are seeking clues in a rape crime involving a large white van and three black male suspects.

Minneapolis Police are looking for a full size, 12-person passenger van that is white in color, they said Monday. The vehicle was used in what they called a brazen sexual assault in North Minneapolis very early Saturday morning. The van has a longer window on the driver’s side and has a set of double doors with windows on the passenger’s side. The middle two rows of seating in the back of the vehicle are missing.

A woman was reportedly forced into the vehicle by 3 black males near the intersection of Golden Valley Road and Girard Avenue North. The victim, an adult female, reports the men sexually assaulted her before forcing her out of the vehicle in the area of North Minneapolis known as Tangletown, near Irving/Hillside/James Avenues North.

Investigators are looking for information on the men and the van. They have not disclosed whether they have any leads or not.
