MASON CITY – Police and ambulance were called to assist a man who fell off his motorcycle and was injured Wednesday in Mason City.
Officers and fire medics responded to the the area of Pierce Avenue and 4th Street SW for a possible collision involving a subject on a motorcycle. At the scene, however, there was no collision; a male subject had mechanical issues and fell off his motorcycle. He was transported to the hospital with what was said to be minor injuries.
The name of the injured person was not released. The bike stayed behind, parked in a Mercy parking lot.
