MASON CITY – Two men were jailed after police executed a search warrant at a Mason City rental house.
Mason City police and Cerro Gordo deputies went to 1419 North Federal Avenue on Thursday evening to execute a search warrant. After an investigation, two men were arrested. Rory Michael Buchite, age 29 who lives at that address, was arrested for parole and probation violations. Chad Donald Wood, age 35 of another Mason City address, was arrested for fifth degree theft and a warrant in a felony drug case. He is a convicted felon and thief. It appears in court documents that he had been wanted since 2013 as his parole had been revoked at that time.
Both men were being held on no bond at this time.
