MASON CITY – A Mason City man will stand trial in January for a felony domestic assault that involved strangulation.
Daniel Anthony Brown was arrested on October 31 by Mason City police after a domestic incident. He was charged with false imprisonment, aggravated domestic assault and felony domestic assault that involved strangulation.
Brown was jailed that day and a no-contact order was was imposed. He pled not guilty on November 5. A judge set a jury trial date for January 13. Brown posted $500 cash bond on November 12 and was released from jail.
