FOREST CITY – Waldorf College will be dedicating their first home football game on August 30 to honoring military veterans. All profits collected at the gate will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project, whose mission is to honor and empower Wounded Warriors.

“It’s a great way to kick off Labor Day weekend – showing support and gratitude to our local veterans,” Dyanna Quisling, committee chair and head cheerleading coach at Waldorf College, said. “They have done so much for our community and our country, it really is the least we could do.”

Those who have served in the military, past or present, will receive free admission to the game along with their guests. Veterans will also be recognized before the start of the game, and the Waldorf College color guard will be in attendance.

The Waldorf Warriors will be competing against Trinity Bible College starting at 7:00 p.m. at the Bolstorff Field. Spectators are encouraged to arrive early to attend the veteran’s ceremony.
