MASON CITY – A motorcyclist was sent to the hospital after a driver made some bad maneuvers.
On Thursday, August 14 at about 2:50 PM, Leslie Holt was northbound at the 1400 block of North Federal. Holt collided with a motorcyclist, Larry Fiske, who had slowed in front of Holt to turn onto 15th ST NW. After Holt collided with Fiske’s motorcycle, Holt changed lanes into the outside (east) lane and collided with a vehicle driven by Jean Alne.
Holt was cited for Failure to Stop in Assured Clear Distance and Improper Use of Lanes. Fiske was transported to the Mercy emergency room by Mason City emergency responders.
