CEDAR RAPIDS – Iowa basketball’s all-time leading scorer was arrested over the weekend and charged with domestic assault.
Roy Lane Marble, age 47 was charged after a June 7, 2014 incident. The Cedar Rapids Gazette reported that Marble is accused of strangling a person he lives with.
Records show Marble was released from jail the same day.
Marble has been a fixture at Iowa Hawkeye basketball games over he past four years, as his son Devyn was the team’s best player.

Not sure much of a story here other than to smear Marble and make a mountain out of moe-hill. He got pissed at something and choked the person. He didn’t kill anyone.
You can borrow trouble from tomorrow but what the hey. He lost his temper. Don’t make him bad. Got to know more about the incident to really make a judgement.
I enjoyed his basketball playing and this incident won’t change that.
So Watchdog, if someone loses their temper and chokes YOU, it’s OK? As long as they don’t kill you. DOUCHE!
Sometimes people can provoke an incident. While Marble should have kept his emotions in check, I am just saying there is always two sides to every story. DOUCHE to you!
