MASON CITY – Painter, fiber and mixed media artist, Sioux Lawton, will be featured in a solo exhibition that opened on Friday, March 14. Sioux Lawton: Odd Notions; Uncommon Threads will be on display in the Charles H. MacNider Art Museum’s Kinney-Lindstrom Gallery through Saturday, June 14.

Lawton, who lives in Garner, IA, has a B.F.A. from the University of Iowa, concentrating in printmaking. She did not stick solely to printmaking, however.
