MASON CITY – Mayoral candidate Quinn Symonds will hold a meet and greet session followed by questions and answers on Wednesday at 1 PM at the Kentucky Ridge Assisted Living Community.
Mr. Symonds invited the media to attend and report on the event.
“I want fiscal responsibility, accountability in city government, I want to help small businesses and large businesses grow, I want to bring different industry to Mason City, I want to created new tax revenue for Mason City to help keep our taxes low, and I want to see it grow in a positive manner,” Mr. Symonds said earlier this month. “I am the positive alternative for mayor in Mason City”
Rumor has is that all the phone booths in town were booked up, so Quinn decided he should go the Kentucky Ridge Assisted Living Community for his meet and greet. Good choice.
It’s actually for the folks that live there. There is also one critical point missing. They’ve tried to contact all candidates to attend and talk to them, but as of yet, I am the only one to respond.
@MrQuinn-My Mother lives at the Manor and the Mayor was supposed to come talk there but was a no show. He sent someone else, not sure who it was, from city hall to fill in for him. Mr. Quinn, at least you are showing up when asked to. If Max was not running I would be voting for you, sorry about that but think Max is best for our city right now but still have a lot of respect for you & your cause.
This guy is too funny. I hope he knows he has no chance of winning. I’d be surprised if he got 30 votes.
