MASON CITY – Throngs of people from throughout the area were in Mason City Friday, looking for some great deals.
A city-wide rummage sale event kicked off Friday and continues this weekend. The sales are not hard to find, with many signs and cards posted on busy streets, pointing shoppers in the right direction.
One group of ladies from Mason City told NIT Friday afternoon that they were finding some god stuff along with a few surprises.
“Well, we are looking for baby clothes, kid clothes. We’re finding lots of that. Also… stumbled across some other kind of funny items,” two of the women said.
