So, Katie, why in the world would you be supporting Romney/Ryan? Makes absolutely no sense at all.

Romney is not against certain types of abortions and I don’t think anyone has a right to dictate about those situations. I have a problem with women who get abortions of convenience because they were not using birth control and I personally want them to be done by 8 weeks. I really hate the idea of viable baby elective abortions. I can’t imagine doing one or having one. These 2 religious nut jobs from MO and IN are against all abortions.

I really think Romney would be pro-choice if he didn’t want to run on the Republican ticket, the same way I think both Bushes were likely pro-choice as we know Barbara Bush was. I do not think Romney will interfere with Roe v. Wade. And I know he won’t mess with birth control.

In this country, you have to agree to a certain platform to run on a major party ticket. Romney also was not against gay marriage until he decided to run for President. He had to flip on the issue to run as a Republican. It sucks that he gets blamed for being a flip flopper when it’s obvious why he had to do it.

So Romney is lying to his supporters when he tells them he’s against abortion, birth control & gay marriage? Do you suppose they know this? Remember, they’re not all sophisticated voters. I would say most just vote their party, believing their candidate stands for the same things THEY do. The Bible thumpers will be sorely disappointed if Romney is elected and then he announces he’s not really against these things after all. With President Obama you know what you’re getting. He stands by what he says.

Katie You can’t be serious. IT IS CALLED FLIP FLOPPING. He has changed views on just about all major issue. So how can you know what he stands for or thinks. I think he would sell his wife if it got him one more vote.

Come on. Obama has flip flopped on gay marriage as well. He said he was against it before he said he was for it. He also flip flopped on Guantanamo and the wars in the Middle East. He has angered a lot of liberals, thank goodness. He has let everyone down on his promise to be transparent, putting laws online 5 days before signing them, and on and on ad infinitum. I was actually looking forward to some of the promises he never kept. He has hidden more about his past than any president ever. He had no acquaintances in college who have ever come forward. And Romney HAS come out and said he believes in birth control for all women who want it. You can bet he and his wife practiced it after their 5th try for a girl and ended up with a basketball team instead. 😉

You need to understand that I don’t hate Obama, the man. I just don’t like his policies. It would be the same had Nancy Pelosi been elected. I admire that Obama is a good family man who has not appeared to have had an extramarital scandal in his past or present. I think he is an excellent role model for all people in this nation, but I do feel his presidency has divided our country racially instead of uniting it. I think white people were ready for the unity they felt he should bring, but I think black people felt differently and he didn’t try to foster unity. And it’s a shame that people think that voting for anybody but Obama means that you are a racist. I remember many people feeling the same way about Jimmy Carter, Dukakis, and also McGovern. Goldwater, too, for that matter. And Republicans hated JFK. They knew a lot about his past that the mainstream media did not talk about. There was no Fox News back then, but the people who worked even at grassroots level heard the stories about how crooked his father was and how randy JFK was. Disliking the opposition is not a new concept and it has nothing to do with race for the majority of people. The people who say it does are the ones with the racist problem.

Katie…all I will say to you ever again is, if you are speaking the truth as you see it and not just trying to stir thing up, then you are one of the most ignorant and stupid person to ever post here.

Happyguyy, you are wrong about Katie being the most stupid and ignorant person ever to post here, you have her beat by a long shot. I realize that you have been brainwashed into thinking Obama or the whole democratic party is the second coming therefore you trash everybody else and their beliefs but I don’t think I have heard anybody that was so negative as you.

Those religious nut jobs who want to control women’s uteri should form their own dang party. They are as out of place in politics as Sharia law is.

Most people don’t think you’re a racist if you don’t like Obama. Some are racists and make that fact known on this blog and many others but that is a minority of people. People say we have no morals because we don’t believe in God but again that is a small group they just get alot of press.
