MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa – Despite 20-plus point efforts from Sadie Pittman (So., Cape Girardeau, MO) and Kika Greenlee (Fr., Saint Louis Park, MN), the NIACC women’s basketball team lost to Marshalltown Community College on Wednesday night, 66-61.
Greenlee scored 24 points for her 14th game this season of scoring at least 20-points, while Pittman raised her career-high by scoring 23 points. She set her previous career-high of 18 last Saturday against Ellsworth.
NIACC (11-11 overall, 3-5 in ICCAC) led at halftime 33-27, but couldn’t hang on in the second half. Jasmine Johnson led Marshalltown with 15 points, and Arielle Lockett and Courtney Sullivan both scored 13.
NIACC will host Iowa Lakes on Saturday at 1 p.m.
