September 24, 1965 – December 16, 2025

Loren “Lonnie” Wallace Hahle Jr, 60, Of Mason City, IA passed away Monday, December 15, 2025 at his home. Funeral Arrangements are with Fullerton Funeral Home.

Loren was born on September 24, 1965 to Loren Hahle Sr. and Sharon Kay (Fox) Hahle in Algona, Iowa. He moved from Algona in 1992 and spent the rest of his life in Mason City. Loren started working at Trustile Doors in 1999, working there for 26 years. He will be remembered by his coworkers for his sense of humor and making everyone laugh- even though he thought he was a grumpy old man.

Loren loved working outside on his lawn and in his garden, decorating it with funny statues and several gnomes, stacking rocks, and watching the birds. He loved golfing with his son, Coltin, and his grandson Ilias as well as nature walks and “monster hunting” with his grandson, Abel. He was also an avid Hawkeyes and Vikings fan. Loren also loved animals, owning several pets throughout his life. Above all, Loren loved his family. He loved spending time with his three children, and loved “running amok” with his grandchildren even more.

Those left to cherish his memory include his three children; Coltin (Elizabeth) Hahle, Catalin (Savanna) Hahle, and Shea Hahle (Addison Thomas) , his grandchildren Ilias Hahle, Ilsie Hahle and Abel Free. He is also remembered by his mother, Sharon Hahle, sisters Vienna Hahle, Tera Hahle and Angela Hahle, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Those proceeding him in death include his grandson; Odin Free, his father, Loren Sr. his sister Cathy Vitzthum, his grand-dogs Bella and Phteven, maternal grandparents, Barney and Esther Fox, and paternal grandmother, Rose Hahle.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.

Memorials should be mailed to: 123 2nd St SE Mason City, Iowa 50401
